History of The Tower of London

The Tower of London is the most notorious castles in the world, it was built, to rule and terrify Londoners. It’s now a symbol of London and Britain and one of the world’s premier tourist attractions.
The Tower of London has been the setting for many great events during its 900 as well as home to the famous Crown Jewels.
The Tower of London is often identified with the famous White Tower, the original stark square fortress William the Conqueror built in 1078. The tower as a whole is a complex of several buildings set within two concentric rings of defensive walls and a moat and is situated on the bank of the River Thames. The Tower of London is a great sightseeing attraction. The castle is fantastic; I have visited many castles throughout Europe and this castle is uniquely located and gives you a chance to be by the River Thames and to visit other well known hot spots via sightseeing bus tours and walking.

There is an entry fee to get in was very reasonably priced and the with the packages that www.discount-london.com where offering we managed to see many London attractions using the hop on hop off busses as well as the city sightseer river cruises. The castle is also placed opposite a river Thames pier and 3 bus stops which enable visitors to visit the castle easily.
